Lao Journalists’ Association and CARE International in Lao PDR

On December 3-13, 2024, the Lao Journalists’ Association and CARE International in Lao PDR successfully organized a study tour for Lao journalists in three regions in Phongsaly province, namely the WECR, KFSP projects, and Sekong province, the SuPER WE Coffee project. The purpose of this study tour was to encourage journalists to participate in the practical implementation of collecting information on green development related to the promotion of gender equality, to be able to apply the lessons learned to skillfully collect data, and to be able to disseminate information on green development through new media reporting nationwide. After completing the study tour, journalists have a greater understanding of green news writing and reporting in new ways. In addition, journalists will also participate in a news writing competition soon.
